Privacy Policy

Orca is a local-first developer tool. This policy covers two things: what this marketing website collects, and — just as importantly — what the Orca app does not collect.

What this website collects

This site uses two privacy-conscious, aggregate analytics services to understand traffic and improve the product. Both collect anonymous, non-identifying usage data only. We never sell your data.

• PostHog — page views and a single download clicked event. Autocapture is disabled, session recording is disabled, and profiles are created for identified users only (which, on this site, is no one).
• Vercel Analytics — anonymous, aggregate visitor metrics with no cross-site tracking.

What we don't collect

• Your source code never leaves your machine. Orca runs every coding session in a container on hardware you control — local Docker or your own Kubernetes cluster.
• No marketing account. There is no signup or login to use this site or to download the app.
• No shared credential store. In the desktop app, OAuth tokens are stored locally and shipped to workers per turn — they are never pooled on a server we operate.

Cookies and local storage

PostHog stores an anonymous identifier in your browser's localStorage to de-duplicate page views. No advertising cookies are set.

Third-party services

This site is served by Vercel and uses PostHog for analytics. Their respective privacy policies govern any data they process on our behalf.

Your choices

You can block analytics entirely with a browser content blocker or by enabling Do Not Track. The site remains fully functional with analytics blocked.
